For closet audit, people often say: “if you don’t wear something in a year, the chances are you not going to wear it, and it should be gone!” It’s somewhat true but not entirely in my case. There are quite a few things I keep in my closet for 5-10 years, even though I don’t wear often, but it’s just there. I guess for the display sake so I can just refer back, know in my heart that it will never go out of style. A great example is the vest in this outfit. I have had it for about 7 years now. I love it more than the day I bought it. There’s something about this vest…it has that vintage vibes. The antique gold hardware embroidery makes it very unique.
