Hello and Happy Hump Day!
As for my absence, I owe some wondering minds an explanation. It’s rather a …sad excuse.
Life had taken an unfortunate turn on me when one of my loved ones had a brain aneurysm out of no where back in November. Nine months have passed with lots of family support, tears, and prayers, my mom gains back her consciousness and some parts of mobility. It is a reality that I fight hard to accept, a nightmare that I can’t wake up from just to know my mom will not ever be the same as before Nov 5th. In those nine months I was in and out of hospitals, rehab facilities, and countless doctor offices. It is impossible to wrap my emotions and ordeal in one paragraph. As time goes by, I have come to compromise that things could be worse and count my blessing each day as long as my mom is here on this earth.
With all that happened, I’ve been bi-coastal, between my folks’ and my new home in Seattle. I left this city and… this blog last Fall, now back in time to feel Fall is on the horizon again. When there’s a cool breeze lurking into bright summer days, it’s time to pull out the layering piece, in this case, a playful floral moto jacket.
