Happy Beauty Tuesday!
As of late, I realize my skin tends to be on the dryer side. Growing up I’ve always known it’s combination to oily. I guess the dryness comes with age. I have heard of a saying “Once you hit 40, things start to go down hill!”…and I’m feeling it! Sad but true.
I’ve been using my SKII cleanser for a long time. It does its job really well, but I have noticed the dry patches afterward. That leads to the search for the new cleansing regimen, and I’m delighted to have found one after reading so many reviews, Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
(Disclaimer: this is NOT an affiliated post, my opinion are purely based on my experience with the product)
Wishing you all a great weekend so far!

Makeup! If you’re starting out and frustrated with the useless applicators that included with the products, then thinking what brushes to have in your kit does not help much either, especially with as much choices as there’re now. Turning to Youtube videos to see some gurus using five different brushes just to apply eye makeup? No way! I learned my lessons after buying too much makeup brushes, thinking the right tools will help do the job, that is only true to some extends. You really don’t need one brush for one job. Here’s my brushes kit, simplified.
Happy Friday!
Hello beauties!
As much as I love makeup, I hate the one that makes me feel like wearing a mask. The older I get, the more I realize the important of “less is more” when it comes to beauty. Makeup should only be enhancing instead of masking your natural traits. I did not start this girly routine when I was in my late 20’s. After years of practice, also of course many bad looking faces, and many products thrown out, I have these to rely on for a flawless complexion.
Happy sunshine Sunday everyone!
Hello and Happy Thursday!
