Roses

Hope you all had a great weekend and a Father’s Day celebration filled with good food and fantastic companies.

Today’s post features my 2nd jumpsuit (the first one was here).  I always have a soft spot for large flowery prints, and those big roses caught my eyes.  I was anxious and overjoyed upon its arrival but was a bit disappointed because of the sheer material.  I left it untouched and planned to return, but my weakness for pretty roses could not pass this up, so I decided to combine with my long cardigan just to add another layer.

Bow Collar Top & White Shorts

Hope you had a great weekend and ready for the new week ahead,

For today’s look, I brought back my essentials, pairs of white shorts, combine with my favorite mustard bow collar top for a beautiful spring day here.  My remedy for an unpredictable weather is this cardigan I bought last season.  Its deep purple hue creates a great contrast with yellow, adding more color pop to this outfit, which also best to accompanied by some neutral accessories.

Striped Midi

Wishing you a happy up coming Friday!

Despite how much I don’t like the continuous rain, I love the green here in Atlanta.  It’s so refreshing to see, I guess after a drought season in CA.

I normally pack light for my trips home, so dresses are ideal for light travel companion.  I chose this midi dress for its light weight, elastic, and  wrinkle free material.  The style is simple and classic.  A belt added is one option for more of a fancy look or just a bow tied pair with sandals for a casual stroll.

Gingham & Fake Leather

Hope you had a great Memorial Day and ready to start your week!

A traditional shirt has always been the last item I would pick for my outfit choice.  There are so many times I would put on then end up with something else.  You would think what can go wrong with this classic piece, but for me there are styles that don’t give me the confidence when I’m in, and a traditional shirt is one of them.

Today, I decided to embrace this style and bend it a bit out of the usual way by front tied, sleeves rolled up, and over a flare faux leather skirt, as remedies for my confidence booster.

Black Mini & Pink

Hello everyone!

I apologize for having just a few pictures today.  This photo shoot session didn’t come out as I expected, but I rather keep things on schedule, so here they are!

I decided to recycle this top (also seen here) with a mini skirt for an easy transition from day (when combine with a black vest) to night, for work and then a night out for whatever special occasion that might be.

Memorial day is approaching, wishing you a safe and happy long weekend, be careful when you’re on the road.  If not, have a relaxing time by the pool and enjoy the barbecue with your love ones.

Chevron Maxi Dress

Hello everyone!

Just a quick shout out and hope your week starting well.  Today’s post show cases one of my weaknesses, a maxi dress.  I’m grateful for this versatile style, being comfy without giving up elegance.   I adore this chevron maxi I found a few weeks back in H&M.  The style is simple, basic with a demure neckline and sides split for easy movement.  Since the patterns are black and white, I decided to incorporate a pop of yellow.  I wore my Coach cross body bag as a clutch and used its strap as a belt.

My Friday’s Office Style: Boyfriend Jeans & Crop Jacket

Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

Today’s post features one of my normal Friday office styles.  We are only allowed to wear jeans on Fridays at my work.  It’s what they called “casual Fridays.”  While most others enjoy their comfort in sneakers and sweatshirt, I like to take my jeans up a notch, with heels, structured bag, and a chic jacket because for me, life is too short to be casual! How do you dress for work on Fridays?
